Ted,

As a Chimaera owner who's twice been promised factory visited by (now no longer) main dealers, and has just discovered I'm out of the country for 'back home' - I was wondering what the score might be for a Pistonheads TVR factory tour?

Could count me in for starters.....

If you want a factory tour you ring up their reception and book yourself in - they run them regularly for 4-6 people at a time. The lovely Danielle is usually the tour guide. I'm not sure about vetting of people who want to go, but I guess owners shouldn't have a problem (I didn't).

I'd fancy this - I've always wanted a look round the factory.

Cheers,

I was planning on going to 'Back Home' but if there is another PistonHeads trip to the factory to see the lovely cars, and the lovely Danielle (must meet this woman!) then I am up for that as well!

Well don't cancel other trips on the basis of this discussion!

I'm investigating the possibility but won't have any news either way for a few days yet.

Is there anything to say that a none owner can't go???
Most people I hear of that have gone are either viewing one thats inbuild or own one and are going for a snoop!!

Sorry to disappoint all you "Red blooded" guys but I was at the factory a couple of weeks ago to see my Tamora in build and "The lovely Danielle" told me she is no longer doing the tours as she was changing jobs. Some guy has now taken over showing people around.

Question: Are there any other lady TVR owners out there? You can't always tell by the nickname...just wondering if I'm one of the rare few?? I'd be interested in a factory tour as well.
