As my insurance is up for renewal this month, I gave Haggertys a phone

Sadly for me, as I foolishly do more than 5k mpa in the Cerb, they cant (wont?) insure me.

Oh well, have to stay where I am I guess.

Might be worth explaining your case to them - they were very flexible when I spoke to them. Suggested that I may be able to renew early and restart mileage if necessary....

You would have to work out if that was cheaper or not through.

I did try to plead my case but the chap didnt seem that interested as soon as I said I wanted more mileage. He just said their's was a 'classic' policy and isnt designed for someone who uses their car more.

TBH, I dont think there is much in it, certainly after you take into account the 10% per trackday cover payment. As I do 3-4 per year, that would equate to say £100+? So all in all, about the same, as my renewal is just over £400 for unlimited mileage with TD cover included.

And my current insurers have just agreed to an 'agreed valuation' policy without extra premium smile

Hey Nick, mind telling me who you are using?
Mine is more than yours for unlimited mileage(admittedly i have a little mod on the engine) and I just tried to add a mate on mine for a quick trip over to Paris. I just got a flat "no". - and i don't get track day cover included frown

Glad to see another convert to the Hagerty cause!

Incidentally, does anyone here insure a car with a roll bar or any significant mods with them?
