Hi all,

A good friend of mine (in Yarm, North Yorkshire) is doing up and furnishing a rental property, and is after a HDTV. I have heard that it's possible to get repossessed ones at low cost, obviously no warranty etc.

Does anyone know if this is actually possible, and if so, where to look in the local area, with some degree of confidence..

Thanks again..

They normally go to auction, do a ring round of your local auction houses and see what they offer

+1 for richersounds, i have a very expensive seperate HiFi setup that would probably cost 2-3K.... although i did not pay that, not even half. Always checking there clearance section.......

Thanks guys, I'll get him to check out richer sounds. My advice to him was to be wary of the warranty issue, it's a lot of money to piss down the drain.

Taldo, I'm familiar with Guisbrough - I used to frequent a mountain biking shop there. I'm from Yarm originally, too.
