Did anyone catch this, this afternoon?
"Previously just a casual fun runner, the children's presenter"(Helen Skelton) "has become only the second woman to complete Namibia's gruelling Ultra Marathon, crossing the sands in 23 hours and 50 minutes. Her trainer said she was spurred on by a prediction from her brother that she'd never do it"
Seventy eight miles! in Namibia! most of it on blisters! and she was so upbeat throughout. I thought it was inspirational stuff! amazing!
