Though 'cadence' and 'clutching' appear to bring on a whole new meaning with this chap.

I doubt any Royal or famous person would openly present themselves. If you were that well known you'd probably find a forum such as this a place where you can be anonymous and on the same level as the rest, apart from where your personal opinions lie.

I don't really get why the guy has received so much abuse.

His postings may not agree with the general PH consensus, but he seems a knowledgable bloke. (assuming it is a man).

Yes, that can happen, but these are quite spiteful and I was wondering if this was due to the chap being a bit of a troll etc.

As to whether this thread is neccessary or not, well there's not much more necessary than water, food, shelter. Beyond that why are we here in PH, ohhh I remember to have a laugh and maybe learn something.
