I seem to be having immense hardship in locating a recommended insurer for a 2000 plate 360 - my head is going to explode.

Can anyone help me!?

try classicline in leicestershire 01455 639000

underwritten by royal I pay £900 per year limited to 5K per year.

I have also tried direct line but due to advers comments about only using their own repair shops I changed to these.

I second simonspiders recommendation. Nowell and Richards were by far the best on my 360. Also an incredibly well organised broker however I recommend only speaking to Richard. He is very personable and effecient.

I'd second APlan. Very helpful guys.

Tesco were the cheapest (on the 355). APlan matched them, but guaranteed that there would be zero hassle in using authorised Ferrari dealers for all repairs...

My quotes ranged from 1700 a year to nearly 6k! I guess that's some insurance firms politely saying they'd rather not insure you

There are some shades to this insurance lark I wasn't aware of before, illustrated here: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=188
The thread gets intersting (to me) about halfway through. I used to think these high quotes were just taking the piss too. But maybe they aren't all gathered round the phone sniggering when you call for a quote!

I just tried LiverpoolVictoria - WOW... £800 saving on my current policy! They almost cut it in half - hard to believe so I called them to check the Web site quote. No problem.

I thought the days of finding an exceptional quote were long gone... three cheers for LiverpoolVicoria!

I thought I'd try LiverpoolVictoria for a quote for my Tuscan, and was amused to find that when I did a search for vehicle type on my reg number, it came up with a Reliant Robin!

Slightly better than a Reliant Robin!

Actually, I dug out my V5 today, which I'd not looked at before, and have noticed that my car is actually registered as a 4 litre Robin Reliant convertible!
