Hi evryone, on the lookout for a small camera bag. I'm not wanting to spend a fortune and it only needs to be able to hold my 100d and at the min the kit lens and a few filters , but in the future possibly another two lenses. I love the look of the Billingham bags butnot really prepared to pay the price. Also like the Nat Geo bags too.
Thanks everyone.

I too like the Billinghams, but they're a bit pricey. The Lowepro Stealth Reporter AW range looks good though.

I've got a couple of bags from the Lowepro range. Reasonable pricing and they're guarenteed to have something to suit your needs. Possibly the Rezo?

I've got a Tamrac one; it doesn't say the model number on it just that it's a 'Digital Series'. It's well made and well designed but on reflection I would have gone for a backpack: walking around taking photos with a shoulder bag on isn't very convenient.

+1 I have a nova 2 AW as my small bag - Just about holds my D300 with 17-50 F2.8 attached (quite big in itself), 70-200mm F2.8 (massive) and a small 50mm lens or a flash gun. Probably about the right size for you I guess. Quite pricey - was £40-50 when I bought it a few years ago, but stood up to the abuses of third world travel really well. Rain cover is useful too.

Crumpler do some stuff that are not obviously camera cases and may serve another use or two.

I bought a small pretty boy that just holds the SLR with no spare kit and was very impressed with the quality and the relaxed look of it.

Uh!?! - I don't believe he just said that!

Oh - smile I see what you mean!

OK

Well, I know the Billinghams are on the expensive side but they are fabulously well stitched together and they do last well. Have two myself and though they're not necessarily a replacement for a Lowepro Fastpack or Slingshot which I use, they can be very useful.

I can't believe I just said that ! I just spat out my lunch rereading it.

The pretty boy just moved away in time to avoid the spray.
