What is with the Ginger Hate?

I've been meaning to ask for years. Seems that gingers (and Germans) are the go to topic for jokes/insults and occasionally thrown hard objects.

I'm an American.. Normally I "get" most British humor/insults but I honestly can't think of a single time I've ever even heard of Gingers being a subject of ridicule (with the exception of a great South Park episode) in the states. I don't think we share this dislike.

So where does this come from?

Essentially people are jealous. Gingers are a purer breed, unmolestered by the ravaging hoards. Taking the pi$$ out of gingers I've found is for those who lack any kind of imagination.

There's no real "reason" for it thus they are only doing it as they've been "told" to by their peers. In a way, it's more pathetic than racism where they may hold some (repugnant) reason an "justification" (e.g. deytoookkorrrjobs and so on.)

Whereas merc drivers, pah! c0cks of the highest order. Or is is Audis? Or BMWs? I can't remember, "Hey Mr Clarkson, tell me who should I call a c0ck these days?, please sir I need to be told, I can't think of anything by myself"....

You'll soon see how much lack of imagination they have once they, mistakenly, think I'm ginger...

People make fun of ginger head because this hair color is comparatively different and unique. Black/brunettes/blond hair color is thought to be normal in Europe and many western countries. Anyhow, people make fun of everything they come across with. They say blonds are dumb, brunettes are no fun, and people with red hair are gingers. They do it just for the hell of it. There is something like 1% of the world is ginger, but yet if it is so horrible, you wouldn't be able to find that color in a bottle, but yet just look at the women who try to dye their hair red.

Im an adopted ginger... strawberry blonde... so was ginger as a kid and hair changed colour to blonde as i got older without the help of dyes.
