The font looks like Ronda - but it's not free. Not sure of any free fonts that are all that similar really.

That looks quite old, probably Letraset or Linotype and then shot on a camera.

Someone has no doubt digitised it but buggered if I know who. Had a quick look through all my font books but can't see anything. Will continue on my quest.

ooooh, sorry to hijack your thread but while the topic of fonts has been raised, i have been searching for ages to replace the door numbers stolen from outside my flat by little scrotes last year.

Unfortunately i'm at work so can't scan the number i have left (which makes this post a bit hopeless i suppose), however they are the numbers quite often seen in 80s style council tower blocks (although its a private flat, it was built in 1984). It's quite a retro font and i can't find replacements anywhere.

I even asked the woman at the local council housing department if they had spares but she looked at me like i was smoking crack (you'd think she'd be used to that).

Anyway, i have been told by local signwriters it's no longer in production but is called 'confestive' font, however i can't find a trace of this anywhere.

Apologies for the boringness of this question but if anybody at all knows anything about this font i'll be utterly grateful (and amazed).

Cool poster by the way.

Thanks, thats a pretty good site, but i could not find the correct one as it requires a lot of lower case charectors to identify the font. OUt of the 20 or so i finished with none were it..

Ill keep on hunting
