I've had quotes from:
Sunninghill
Hill House Hammond
Privilege
Endsleigh
Also rather daft quotes from A1 and Adrian Flux who didn't know the car so quoted as though it was a Ferrari. May be worth trying again now as this was last September and perhaps they would recognise it now.
Will be trying David Spragg who was recommended for the Noble, once delivery is imminent. Also still to try are A Plan, AON and Tesco.

Not finished trying yet but the best I have received so far is £491 with £1000 excess, £644 with £500 excess, £739 with £250 excess. Full NCD, zero points on licence, garaged and in low risk postcode, Thatcham alarm, Tracker fitted, doddery old b*&^%£d. 10,000 miles, protected NCD, no trackday cover.

bloody hell i've got 4 years ncd and garage cover for my 306 and I pay 1200 then again i do live in SW15
my exige was 2k at the same address.
A1 - funny that, I was also quoted 'as for a Ferrari, just under 2 grand' but had the impression at the time that they didn't really know what the car was, may have changed by now. The only thing going for them was that they included trackday cover.
The figures I have posted were from Privilege but fitting a tracker was an absolute requirement, sensible anyway.
Also had a not unreasonable quote from Endsleigh at £756 - £250 damage excess, £110 theft, £50 windscreen; 12,000 miles.
My car is still a way off and I have hopes that we may be able to do better via the fledgling Noble Owners Club recently discussed on Yahoo owners group by Flashy Dave and Joolz. Early days yet but an insurance scheme is one of their aims. Come on Ann (Manning), make us an offer .
Good luck with the search and let us know who you find the cheapest.
Cheers, Martin.

Bit of an improvement today. I was renewing my insurance on the Chimaera with Mannings - the TVR car club insurance scheme brokers who insure with Cornhill. I approached them last September for a quote on the Noble but they were unable to give a competitive figure at the time so I faxed off a load of info to them on the M12 and left it at that.
It has all moved on a bit and they will now give a quote which for me was at the same premium and conditions as for the Chimaera i.e. £250 excess; includes legal protection;
£367.98 for 7,000miles or
£406.20 for unlimited mileage;
trackday cover included for TVRCC managed events when excess increases by £750.
See my post of 24th Feb for risk profile and comparison. Good luck, keep shopping around.

Martin,
What do you mean by low risk postcode. Is it outside London? Asked Privilege(insured with them at the moment)and have been quoted £1400 though they didn't seem to know about the car. Will probably try with A-Plan as I used them before. Do Mannings only quote for TVR owners? I did have a Tuscan previously, but did not join TVRCC

Hi Cho,
My definition of low risk postcode does not include London unfortunately as I live in a small village in Glos.
Just spoken to Mannings again and my last post requires a bit of qualification now I understand it better. The figures I have quoted here are for renewal on my Chimaera and they will accept the change of car to the Noble (provided a GPS Tracker is fitted) during the 'insurance' year when it happens, and at the same premium. Come next March at renewal time they expect to have discussed the Noble with insurers, probably mid summertime, so should be able to quote but this will presumably be at a different rate.
Sorry for any confusion but at least the insurance world seems to be beginning to recognise the car now. Looks like I will probably have another year in which to find a good premium.
