Im fairly new to photography and got loads to learn, but i attended our friends wedding on saturday and decided to take DSLR instead of my compact - i really enjoyed it. There were some really poor photos, but also some great ones that have captured the story of the day.

(to pre-warn you the first few photos inside the chirch were poor as i hadnt enough time to catch my breath and set cam up proper;y after arriving just after the bride!)

anyway, I decided to take mainly 'non-obtrusive' photos as to be honest the posed ones normally bore me to tears!

We have a few more weddings this year to go to and im now under increased pressure by my friends to shoot similar sets for them. really not in the position i wanted to be as people will start making orders up and im just there to have fun!

You've caught some good ones there. I bet the bride and groom will be chuffed with those.

I think it's a great idea.. we did the same when we got married last year... we intially told the photographer that there would be none of the usual posed group photos but that his brief was to "Pap the guests"............ got some very strange ones but sum up the wedding!!
