Next time you're stressed, this might help.

Taken in the Outer Hebrides, on a beach on the Isle of Harris, looking towards the Isle of Taransay. Taken with the Leica D4 Lux in HD 16:9 - then squashed to buggery to make it 16 mb (from 300 odd).

Slung together for the occasion. Not my finest hour but quite appropriate methinks.

After doing the 18 day tour around Scotland last year we're heading back again this year - 1 week in the Islands using the Caledonian MacBrayne "Island Hopscotch #8" ticket (Barra, Uists, Harris & Lewis) and then the other week in some of the other places in the Highlands that we didn't get the time to visit last time (with a couple of days on Skye as we loved it so much last time round).

With us heading over in the first two weeks of August it'll be hit and miss with the good old weather, but last year we only had a single wet day out of the 18, so fingers crossed for more of the same smile

Can one have a vid as a desktop background?

I have shed loads of photos from the same beach, if you want a pic, let me know what size.

I have it running as a video desktop background. Lovely and serene though I had to mute the sound on the movie..

Works lovely on the Mac. I'm using This bit of software to run the video as the desktop
