A4 Problem

Hi can anyone help with this one, I have Audi A4 2.8 quattro 97 starts 1st time, go to supermarket come out half hour later cars engine still warm, starts 1st time, drive away 30 seconds later engine just dies and wont restart. leave it half an hour jump in starts up fine any ideas? Its almost like the engine is flooded!

sounds like the temp' sender unit is broke. keeps telling ur ecu that the engine is to hot. just had the same problem with a corsa a few weeks ago.

could be temp sensor but i think cranck shaft sensor as iv seen them go down when they get hot
