.....and state something along the lines of "Please keep Steve Wright on a permanent holiday and give Mark Radcliffe and Lisa Tarbuck his job as they are infinitely more entertaining, thank you". Obviously you can formulate your own, more succinct and eloquent statement, if you like.
I've sent one......so should you. I've thoroughly enjoyed Radcliffe and Tarbuck this week, genuinely intelligent banter. Why can't they terminate "the big show", it's toss!

I must disagree, as the last time I listened he was the best DJ on the wireless by a country mile. Circa 1985. Not heard hime since but it really must be about time he retired Following the other thread about how utterly sheeite Steve Wright in the afternoon can everyone complain via...

Well I would complain, but I quite like listening to Radcliffe and Maconie in the evenings on Radio 2. As I can't listen to the afternoon show anyway as I'm at work, I'd rather Radcliffe stayed in his normal evening show.
As for Steve Wright, I used to love him in the afternoons on Radio 1 when I was a nipper. I'm just slightly puzzled how he's managed to survive when he's kept the format of his show unchanged in the intervening 20 years...

Does he have some serious clout at R2 towers or something. As for Steve Wright, I used to love him in the afternoons on Radio 1 when I was a nipper. I'm just slightly puzzled how he's managed to survive when he's kept the format of his show unchanged in the intervening 20 years...
I'm genuinely baffled as to how he has persisted, fungal like, for 2 decades.

The irony is delicious, isn't it? I mean who the hell would steal any of his content?

Radio 2's Steve Wright only reads out letters from people who say how much they love him and his show. I know this because me and my mates write to him regularly to tell him we think he's a c*nt and he never reads our letters out.
