Newbie to Forza 2

After buying myself a steering wheel, I thought I'd give Forza 2 a go after reading how many threads are in this forum. Three days later I'm hooked and severely sleep deprived. The game is amazing!
How do I get myself involved in the PH races/tournaments online? Are they regular days/times or is just a case of keeping an eye on the forum?
Also, has anyone got some tips one which cars are best and how's the easiest way to get hodl of them? (e.g. cheap in auction house or time trials?)

If you want to get involved in a championship, just keep your eyes peeled on the forums. If you're not actually involved in a Championship we're always looking for people to fill vacant slots on certain nights, so you're more than welcome to join in.
To be honest though, the best way to get involved is to race online with us on nights where we're just dossing about......as long as you have a sense of humour you'll be welcomed with open arms.
just add us all to your freinds list and you're bound to find at least one of us online.

As has been said above, best to just add a few of us and join in a few drift practises or races sometimes. I only started playing this with the other PH guys last week, but have been playing Forza since it was released. Justed wanted to get back into it and race with some decent people.

There will be a fair few online after tonights Rallycross championship, you're more than welcome to join in!
My gamertag is ih8thisname, send me over a friends request and then sift through my friends list and get adding the names you recognise from the boards.
Re what car question; I recommend starting with a car that has a lowish PI, then doing all the race "Handling" mods/Slick Tyres and then round the car off to a nice B700 by doing a couple of power/aero modifications (DC5 Integra is one of my personal favourites)

Fingers crossed mate, it's been quite annoying only having access to the internet here at work. Can't see any pictures or videos or anything.
