Just out of curiosity- I wonder if the petrol and diesels have similar sales figures. Or wether salespeople start telling you one sells better than the other just to give you a meagre trade-in!
Ogki, any input?

The diesel is outsold many many times by the petrol cooper, let alone the One and cooper-s.

Now I am suprised!!I really thought the Cooper D would be the biggest seller! Have you got a rough percentage of how many of each model you sell?

There is a pie chart type thing on our intranet yes, I can find out.

I would guess the break down is something like this:

Cooper - 40%
Cooper-s - 30%
One - 15%
D - 15%

Be interesting to see what the figures actually are smile

Out of interest why would you think the Cooper-d would sell the most?

Cheers

Cheers for those figures! I guess I thought everyone would have pounced on the Dooper due to the low tax and MPG. It's a great city car and imo much better car than the Cooper. Although slower, the Dooper feels much faster than the Cooper due to the torque. As everyone is going for Diesels nowadays, I really would have guessed the figures would have resembled this:

Cooper: 20%
Cooper D: 40%
Cooper S:10%
One: 30%

Imo the Cooper S is the only one to go for!!;)

Cooper S - 10%

Never.....Hardly seen any Mini D's on the road in comparison to the Cooper or Cooper S...
