Hi, I've just disconnected my battery and when reconnected it the airbag light is on.

Is there a quick way to turn this off or do i have to take an expensive trip to the garage to get it reset?

Cheers

Needs resetting. Its caused by either the system not being properly discharged when fiddling or an airbag/passenger seat failure.

The battery was only disconnected for about 15 minutes! I'm sure there's nothing wrong with the airbag, it wasn't on before the disconnection.

Any idea what a garage will charge me?

A local indy will be able to reset it for a more reasonable fee ? I think you can get an OBDII tool to reset it yourself for about £50 !!
