Not so long ago in the grand scheme of things people believed

the world was flat
the sun orbited us
the personnal computer would never take off
That there was such a place as heaven and hell whistle
etc etc etc

So what do we believe to be true today that we are going to be wrong about? (In your opinion of course!)

Man Made Global Warming.

i.e that CO2 is destroying the planet.

also add to the list:

God
Afterlife
Psychic abilities
and the notion that we could all live in peace.

I am of the opinion that we know very, very little about space. We only have info on planets relatively close by, theres so much we don't know.

Actually you're wrong about that hehe Even the ancient civilisations, (Greeks etc.) realised the world was round - Eratosthenes, the Greek keeper of the library in Alexandria in 250BC, even gave an estimate of the Earth's circumference. No-one has ever believed the Earth to be flat.

People are still going on about that one, although the argument moved on (in around 1998) to include a conveyor belt.
