As some of you may know, I just bought myself a new camera, an EOS 300D digital SLR....but also picked up this little card printer (CP200)

All I can say is WOW! The quality is incredible, you cannot (seriously) tell the difference between a print on this, and one from a photo lab. It prints 6x4 or credit card sized pics, using dye sublimation (3 colour pass) and a glossing coat. Speed is about 80secs a print, costing around 35p. Also worth noting is the simplicity.....plug into camera and print, or plug into PC and print. Tiny as well.

Excellent little package for instant results.

LB (excited little techno chappie)

Hi Steve,

I got the same cam, didnt bother to get the dye sub printer though, local photo lab 15p per print on 7x5.

Also i got a canon SLR 12 months old with various lenses images are a hell of a lot better with the cosina lenses IMHO.

Happy Snapping

Steve

PS What DVD writer would you recommend doing a little video editing of a wedding video to send to relative abroad and got to add photo album into menu somewhere

Hey...

Will have to catch up about some lenses me thinks.

As for DVD writers, I went for Pioneer. The latest is the A06 or 106 (same thing), and always burn to -R...more likely to be compatible with other machines and cheaper disks I think.

Regards
Steve
