I've had my old bike nicked out of the shed - t'was a Claude Butler Kylami - prob a good 10 - 12 years old.

I'm looking for a value on it ~(For replacement) - any ideas?

For insurance purposes? Think you will be lucky to get £40.

Yeah that was what i expected - 'twas a nice bike in its day.

Don't think i'll be claiming for this one then!

Wouldn't the valuation be for a like for like new replacement?

Most home insurance schemes have a ceiling for individual items (say £250), unless they are named items with agreed values.

I guess they would but our outbuilding stuff has a £100 pound excess - not sure its worth it to be honest.....
