For those that have seen the Original version and the American - what did you think of the remake..?

I watched a few episodes but I really wasn't keen. The humourous element seemed lost in the US version.

It only ran for a few episodes before getting the chop. I didn't bother watching it (and neither did anyone else, apparently) because almost all American remakes of British programmes are crap.

No, they did the whole season with the finale and everything. I admit I was at first turned off because how can you replace Gene Hunt?? But after a few episodes I got used to the different style and it wasn't all that bad, actually kinda liked it. But the wrap up of the show was just dumb with them actually being ON MARS..

Was just curious of others opinions on it or if it was just me
