Not the first time I've seen so called 'parking attendants' using cameras to snap cars they believe are illegally parked. It brings into question the whole principal of using digital imaging to secure a conviction. It's far easier to tamper with a digital image than it is a negative. I'd be interested to know what technology they use to 'watermark' and archive the original data and what security there is to prevent data corruption and unlawful editing.

I've seen them doing the same thing down here in Brighton. I can't see how they would want to tamper with it or have the ability to, how much training/education did they need for that job in the first place?
