Mark Webber has admitted there is ‘talk’ between Williams and Jaguar about his services.

Juan Pablo Montoya’s belated departure to McLaren has opened up a seat with Williams for 2005 - and perhaps even 2004 - and Webber is apparently high on Sir Frank Williams’ wish-list.

And according to Webber, talk has already began between his current and prospective employers.

"There is talk happening and I'd be lying if I said there wasn't but I've got a contract with Jaguar to the end of 2005 and that's how it is," Webber told The Australian.
"A lot of the time things happen without you knowing about it but I'm sure Frank Williams and [Jaguar boss] Tony Purnell spoke about it but for me I've got to focus on this year.

"Everything's an option," added Webber. "We could have a really strong year next year and in terms of the work we've put in since I arrived, to then move on and give someone else that sort of baby would be disappointing.

"But on the other side of the coin, if there's a chance to win grands prix there's no driver in the world who's going to give that up."
