niiiiice!

Did you post a few pics using the same technique a week or so ago? Inspired me to try something similar, and I got great results, but i definitely dont have your knack for it

edited: heres my attempt:

I havent got round to photoshopping out the ariel (its a mini remote controled car)

Ive got this led torch that i picked up from a toy store- it cyles through red green and blue. creates some interesting, if unpredictable results! I used the less shiney side of aluminum foil as the backdrop, curved from vertical to horizontal, which gave that texture in the background

Wish i had your knack for the technique though. And thanks for inspiring me to pick up my camera- ive been far too lazy of late

OP that's a cool shot, nice light-work. Great result for a model, and a good looking model too - what scale/ size?

I lit a 1:1 Nissan Note in a similar way last week

That's a lovely shot, and the mini-write up on flickr is really inspiring. Thank you smile

nice shot and good model, here are my practise shots on a ninco slot car before moving onto my full size 3.2 at the ace cafe one night. Shot on a Ricoh GX100 at f10.4 for 30 seconds.

I got one of from the local electrical store and the other is an l.e.d key fob light probably from somewhere like Halfrauds. Think they cost about £3.
