2000W A class engine

Well my son has managed to blow up my wifes A140. I need to get the engine out. Bit of a longshot but does anyone know where I can download a proper workshop manual or can ayone just tell me if the engine can be lifted out or needs dropping through the bottom?
It will make the difference between whether I tackle it or farm the job out.
