Hi,

Try Fritz Bits, 01623 674459. Richard Snr. or Jnr. will most likely be able to help. I recently (Thursday, spent two days with them) took my E30 M3 down to see them (from Sheffield), they are amazing! They knew every nut and bolt on my car. I have had my M3 for nearly four years and I wish I had taken it to them sooner. I thought it was good before but now they have gone over it with a fine toothed comb it is now the machine it was always meant to be, the journey back was the best! If you want your E30 sorted, what ever model, just ask them and I am sure they will sort you out.

Regards

David

BMW still sell a lot of stuff for the E30, I've never had any problems getting hold of stuff.

The oil cooler is showing as availible on http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=1001... although all prices are in $.

Could also try FAB direct, Mosely motorsport or Munich Legends for used parts

Just out of interest, what have they done to your car to improve it so much??

They sorted out the ride firstly - Suspension Arm Rubbers etc, Top Mounts in the rear were worn, now renewed and one or two other bits.

Then the gear stick was a bit wobbly (technical term) so they renewed the coupling etc.

And then obviously the biggest difference was on the engine. They gave it the correct air flow etc. and then finally put it on the Rolling Road and gave it the beans to blow the cobwebs off it and to make sure the Torque and the BHP were what they were supposed to be (and now they are (Yey!)). I had always been reluctant to really push it as for one; it didn't want to break it and two I did not really know if it was properly set up so that I could push it and now I know it is. And I had put a new Milltek exhaust on it as well, so I needed to see if that had made a difference.

Then they checked underneath to make sure all was well, renewed perished/ing brake sensors, Jacking Points etc.

And just really (I think anyway) put it right for a good few years to come. It now rides right, sounds right and performs as it should. (I had always thought it was okay, as I had nothing to compare it to with regard to how E30 M3s should perform or handle, as it is my first.)

I am just glad there are guys like them who can do this sort of stuff especially for the likes of myself who can do the basics but when it comes down to really sorting your motor out I'm afraid I have to leave it to the experts.

Regards

David
