M3 SMG Running/Idle Noise

Hi all,

This maybe nothing, just bought the car, there is a slight tick over noise coming from the engine when running or left idle. Is this normal for an M3? I have been listening to engine noises on m3 but can't quite tell if its the same. I know the engine is meant to be loud, probably being paranoid but better safe than sorry. Anyone with M3 could let me know if this normal,

What do you mean, a slight tick over noise? Can you give a bit more of a description?
