MKV seat change
Discussion
There will be a setting in VAG.COM to tell the car it doesn't have airbags in the seats.
By teh way I have Recaros and they look the part and are brilliant seats but the quality on them has not been up to the standard I would have expected for such an expensive option. I'm not the only one that has had problems with these seats so be careful

Cheers cuprabob, I'l look into seats that might be a bit harder wearing!
Thanks for advice.
There's not a problem with wear on the seat but it's more the general construction. I've had mine at dealers twice to have clips changed as the leather was coming away around the edges of the seat. VW have changed the design of the clips to stop this happening. Thanks for advice.
One other thing to consider is if your car is a 3 door they are awkward to slide forward to let people in and out and the lovely polished plastic back is easily scratched.
If you can get a set for a good price go for them as they are a brilliant seat both from looks and more importantly sitting in.
