Been having problems with my ps3 since the last update done.

Try to go online on cod4 and it takes a few seconds to load up the main menu. Also is very jumpy and can freeze for a second or 2.

When i go to click public playlists, it comes up downloading settings, despite it doing that when i first started it up. This doesnt go away, i have left it for 20 minutes at a time and it has not changed.
Still acts jumpy and partial freezes when going through classes and barracks.

If i click to go into private match the full ps3 crashes.

Heres pictures of the playlist and private match when they are trying to load.

I wiped all cod4 data from the memory of the ps3 and restarted it, it worked fine.

Went out to make sure it wasnt a fluke and its back to the above problems.

Whats wrong and what can i do apart from wipe all data every time i want to play online??

i had this too. just don't go on it for a while, it'll sort itself out. I think it's probably just my/your connection acting up.

Tried this last night. It worked fine and the game ran without any problems.

Everythings back to not working again today. My mate tried to invite me to his party and it wouldnt let me, came up with downloading games settings again. Also when i backed out and tired to go back to single player it wouldnt let me do that either.

I dont understand whats wrong, i have the bt homehub fitted in a few months ago as i used to get signed off online thanks to poor connection. The wireless signal is over 60% so dont understand it.

Gone sadly back to world at war as it runs fine. Not a patch on cod4 though frown

Yup, resetting the router normally fixes this for me as well.

Will try the unplug the modem trick again. Bit of a farse but if it works then it works...
