Hey there folks. Looks like i've gone and lost one of the keys for the Polo. Anyone have any idea where the best place to get a replacement from would be? How much am I going to get stung? I have a horrible feeling it's going to be rather a lot!
Had to get a replacement last year - went to a VW dealer and they charged around £160 to have 2 sets of keys cut and to change the codes. They charge an extra £50-60 for remote central locking.
You could buy a key from ebay, find somebody to cut the blade, the find somebody else to reprogram the key... if you can get it done for £160... Go to the dealer.
