I hope its an easy one to answer.

Just bought a house, needs a complete new bathroom, and its not a very large room.
One end is taken up completely by a cupboard, which contains the combi boiler.

In order to liberate more space, can the boiler go into the loft, or are there regs regarding this??

All info gratefully received, and if any plumbers are local to Milton Keynes and like the idea of fitting a new suite and moving the boiler, please let me know- should be happening in about 7 weeks time.

You can put the combi in the loft.

Apart from being a pain in the arse to lift it up there and if water spills out from it, there is more chance of damage. Go ahead.

If the boiler is in the loft, make sure it's mounted to something that won't resonate through the house. I can just imagine it making a right old racket if mounted on something attached to the ceiling joists.

Mount it on the gable end if there is one. It may resonate a bit but I don't think it'll overly be a problem. Is your bedroom under neither where it'll be going!?
