Apparently most of this country are a bunch of mumbo jumbo beliveing mentalists.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7996187.stm

1 IN 5 PEOPLE BELIVE IN HOROSCOPES AND ASTROLOGY FOR F'S SAKE.

not to mention the 27% that think we're all gonna be coming back at your aunt Ritas pet tortoise.

and don't get me started on the 55% who belive in bloody heaven.

When the British Empire was at it's peak, people had far more random beliefs than astrology & horoscopes.

There is a very big difference between reading horoscopes for ammusement and actually beliving them.

As for the other stuff like reincarnation and heaven surely the default position is to be agnostic? If the questions were phrased to turn a "Possibly" into a "Yes" then that explains the numbers.

True. I don't take them seriously at all - how the random positions of some far-off celestial bodies can have any bearing on my future is completely beyond me.

Then again, us Virgos are naturally cynical.

Surprised people get wound up by polls when they can be very contrived etc.

I bet you can get a poll to say speeding is safe.

You could argue that this country's become more secular and there are now more chavs so perhaps we need religion. And that the drop in number of pirates is associated with global warming.
