From when I talked to the dealers - the paintwork/body warranty is only valid in year one of the new car!!!

Not good really.

Been talking to dealers recently. Just increased to 36 months, was 12 months and the change is (unsurprisingly) not retrospective.
Check your sills. I saw one car with appalling rot, not immediately visible even on the ramps, between the sills and the floor pan (Not that I want to worry you )

What model of car?

Craig - car is great just been getting the hang of it. Though its going back today for a number of things - the key one being the lack of brake lights!!!

Sorry to be a pedant john, but can you clarify this?

i.e. date/models when this happened?

Cheers!

Sorry, was only a chat with the dealership when I was considering what to buy next.

As far as I recall they (Graypaul) said that cars registered from April '03 now carried 36mths anti-corrosion, earlier ones having 12mths only.

hmmm cheers john, appreciated
I'm gonna sit down and check out the warranty over the weekend I think. Not that I should have to worry 'touch wood' etc etc etc.....

Is this for real!! Even Fiats have a 6 year anti-corrosion warranty - What's the rust warranty on a Ferrari?

Yeah, do they do a rust warranty on Ferrari's?
Would be good to know as the 355's not galvanised!
