Hi, where would you suggest I advertise for an International Sales Manager for Eastern Europe?

Basically role will require extensive travel to E.E. to set up car dealerships and sell vehicles being the primary focus. Will be based in Midalnds, UK but language skills (Slovak, Czech, German etc) obviously fairly essential.

Put the feelers out via my network at the moment, but if anyone can advise on best sites/places to advertise would be appreciated. Obviously this is a senior post with a £40-50k basic + bonus/comm so want to reach a target audience rather than advertise in the job centre.

If you want someone with motor trade experience, which I guess is fairly essential, Autotrader or the specialist press might get you some joy, but my bet is you'll do better to go through an agency. There is someone doing that job already, and really a fairly small pool of people who can do it, having the seniority, clout, experience and language skills to make a success of it. A specialist agency might well have one or two people on their books who have been looking for a role just like this for a while. If not, it sounds like an ideal case for a headhunt. Again, they'll know who is doing that role somewhere and be able to ask them.

Better still, save yourself the fee and exhaust your own network. Sorry if you've already done this but it's amazing how many companies don't do this. If you know anyone who you think could do it, ask them, ask if they know anyone etc.

Good luck
