NumLock alway on
Discussion
I have two win2k loptops that always boot-up with the numlock (embedded in key pad) turned on. Neither used to do this so I must have changed so setting. I always turn this feature off before logging on but it's back after re-boot. Also nothing in BIOS to switch it off.
Any ideas? Cheers Grady

If you're happy using regedit then make sure
HKEY_USERS.DEFAULTControl PanelKeyboardInitialKeyboardIndicators is "0".
Might be worth checking
HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelKeyboardInitialKeyboardIndicators is "0" too, but I think that should only apply after logon.
Usual regediting disclaimers apply
I've got a feeling the MS Intellipoint drivers used to let you change this, but that could have been in Win9x.
