Wrt the 2.9 Engine:-
Has anyone fitted NGK BCPR6ES plugs and if so what did you gap them at??
the Haynes Manual states
32thou for Champion RN7YCC
and 24thou for RN7YC
alternatively does anyone know of a cross ref chart for Champion and NGK?

Hi Ken.
Good to see you up and about.
By coincidence I fitted a set of NGK BCPR6ES plugs last night.
After consulting the expert (cheers Kev! ~ I know you like to be considered an expert!) I set them at .8mm

Using Google with "champion ngk cross reference" I came across this
http://www.spark-plugs.co.uk/pages/technical/champ...
and according to a metric conversion my .8mm is 31.5 thou

Cheers

Thanks Norman
Unfortunately I've been out of everything for a few weeks but am OK now (hopefully). I've really missed the banter on here.
PS Elfit will give .8mm a try Thanks
