Aside from the obvious virtues of the career, I hate the fact my missus is a teacher.
It's Easter Holidays. She has spent the first 4 days being ill (probably due to one of her little classroom sprats) and watching day-time TV.
Now she has recovered, there is no-one around as me and all her friends are working, the weather is s
t, there is sod all to do.
The holidays are not the perk everyone suggests...in her situation, what would you do to amuse yourself (nothing lewd please!). And no, she is not in to Forza 2.

Surely all teachers spend all their holidays marking and preparing next term's lessons........It's Easter Holidays. She has spent the first 4 days being ill (probably due to one of her little classroom sprats) and watching day-time TV.

Some plastering?
Well - decorating anyway - my wife gave up a course as she's been dealing with sick kids for two months - now she's a hole in her day she has taken up learning to paint and decorate by painting the kitchen. I'm looking forward to getting home and doing some touching up.

I use the time to tidy, do little DIY things I've fallen behind on, go out drinking a lot most evenings, knowing I don't have to face 30 screaming kids at 8.45, go shopping, get take the car/motorbike for a drive. It's Easter Holidays.
