My friends are organising for me to drive a Ferrari for my 20th birthday soon. I have a choice to drive either of these two cars.

Which one would be more fun on a race track? Anyone have any idea?

308 would be more friendly, probably better handling in a slightly 'old school' way. Testarossa very fast and makes a stunning noise but a little scary if your commited through the bends - but both will give you a decent hit of that Ferrari magic. Enjoy!
Only problem is you'll come away having decided to sell everything, spend nothing until you can afford an 'F' car of your own...

I was thinking 308 as well.

The only reason I can see myself going for the Testa' would be because of the engine. However I've heard from a couple of sources that the 'Rossa is a bit of a pig to drive. 308 would give me more access to the Ferrari experience.

I've driven a 308 on track - It was amazing, real good fun and you can't really get yourself into a seirously sticky situation - although it does have it's moments

Haven't had a Testarossa on track, so I'm afraid I can't comment!

I'm willing to do it purely in the name of research though

I've driven both on a track. It was on a Ferrari experience day and I just paid extra to drive them both. The 308 was good fun and handled very well, but the Testarossa was just amazing. It is a beast of a car, difficult to change gear and to brake smoothly, but boy did it reward you when you got it right. The noise was also fantastic!

Phone them up and ask if you can drive both then you will experience two extremes of Ferrari ownership.

Do you also drive Cal's 355 Foxy?

If you do I'm very envious!
