BMW themselves see its value to be around £13k in 2 years.

That is crazy
Put me down for 2. Absolutely barking.
Obviously it's not going to cost that little but perhaps they are being extra careful in the current economic climate.
I contacted 2 branches that had M6s for sale. feel free to call them and find out.
That's not really what BMW think they're going to be worth - it's just a figure for PCP purposes, low-balled to work in BMW's favour. They're quids in whichever way you look at it:
1. lower GFV means higher monthly payments in the meantime because you're paying more capital off each month. Better cash flow for BMW.
2. lower GFV means they're more likely to keep your business at the end of the term - you'll either buy the car off them at bargain price or, hopefully in their view, you'll use the "equity" as a deposit on a new one. More sales for BMW.
3. It avoids the risk to BMW that people hand back cars worth less than the GFV, which then owe BMW money that they will never make back. Less risk for BMW.
I've just bought a 08 plate Z4MC which, according to the finance docs, will be worth £3.50 at four years old...

I've no idea what prices might do. However as a M6 owner of 8 days now I can confirm that you should go any buy one right now.
Congrats on the new toy. I am eyeing one up also (pics of your m6 please?).Got an M5 mysel, absolutely love it but at 26 years old I think I may have gone for the wrong body type.
P.S. To toher posters here, I never suggested that it's what these cars will be worth, merely suggesting that perhaps BMW have had a shift in their forecast.
