Think its probably best in here, as its not really technical.

(or should all computer and software related stuff go in that forum..)

Anyway, just been signed out of msn, when i signed back in i had a message from someone not on my contact list

Windows Live(TM) Messenger Service Staff says:
Important service announcement: As part of a recent system enhancement, we need you to change your e-mail address to continue signing in to the Windows Live(TM) Messenger Service.

To ensure that your access is not blocked and to learn more, go to http://support.microsoft.com/gp/Messenger/en

This has come from the email adress MESSENGER@MICROSOFT.COM.

The email adress i'm using is only 2 months old at tops, has anyone else recieved a similar message? And is it legit?

Flanders.

MSN or the message?

The more i read the link, the less it actually makes sense at the reasoning behind me having to change. Although the site if genuine microsoft.

I quite like this email address too.
