If you have a problem with, or question about, the conduct of a moderator, I wouldn't have thought this was the correct place to do so.
Plus, he'll have you for breakfast, son.
Why did I suddenly have a flashback to tonights evening news and the conduct of police officers, when I read this, I wonder?Plus, he'll have you for breakfast, son.
For moderators deciding how to conduct themselves, I would think that the clue is in the title.

Whether it is the "it's within the rules" bleating of politicians defending spending expenses they shouldn't claim, or silent video of policemen forcefully pushing bystanders out of the way, I am fed up with authority without reason and common sense.
To bring this philosophical rant back to earth (and to the original subject!), if Plotloss doesn't like the criticism of a badly thought out and poorly implemented change to this website it is his problem, not the readers.

Loafer, perhaps I should have added a smiley of some sort.
To single out a mod for criticism on the main forums, is, IMHO, poor form. That was the point I was trying to make. There are many avenues on PH to make such feelings known, I don't believe this is one of them.
The breakfast comment was meant as a lightening of my post, an attempt to insert a little humour, and I regret it was seen as anything else.

He bloody would though. He's an animal when riled.

Fair enough. To single out a mod for criticism on the main forums, is, IMHO, poor form. That was the point I was trying to make. There are many avenues on PH to make such feelings known, I don't believe this is one of them.

I wouldn't give up the day job and try for stand-up as a full time job if I were you. ;-)

The "he'll have you for breakfast" attitude smacks of the sort of view that "I'm in authority and therefore I'm right" that has defined the increasing problem with have with our society.

Authority, ascribed or achieved?Whether it is the "it's within the rules" bleating of politicians defending spending expenses they shouldn't claim, or silent video of policemen forcefully pushing bystanders out of the way, I am fed up with authority without reason and common sense.

There's a philosophical debate.
Then, we are not living in a Society that truly values Philosophy.
