I've had my E46 M3 for a little over a week, and yesterday found chance to get out of the driver's seat, and break out the potions and lotions to give it a good clean and polish. Hopefully get the wheels reconditioned at the end of the month.

hehe

Wheels were pretty low on my list of priorities when I was hunting, and given my budget and therefore the ages of cars that I was looking at, the 19" wheels on the cars I viewed were predominantly scabby or shoddily refurbished.

I still might try and hunt out a really professionally refurbed set of 19's, however will stick with mine for the foreseeable. Tyre options and prices are a lot better with the 18's for a start.

Debating whether to get them refurbed in a darker chrome finish like hte early E39 M5s at the moment ... Hmmmm???

Very nice mate I like that. 19s ofcourse look better but I am told 18s are the drivers choice.

Well I prefer the 18"s personally.

Can we get an inclination of how much Sir paid and with what mileage?

77k miles, and pretty much smack on £11k.

It's loaded with all the toys (CD NAV rather than DVD at that age), and has had all of the SMG pumps, mechanisms, clutch etc renewed by a main dealer in the last 6 months (cost of which would buy a really tidy 3.0 E36 M3!!!! yikes), and is in superb condition.

+1 Especially that black one posted on here recently. The E92 19's just look too much like aftermarket copies of the M5 wheels
