PH plumbers...stupid upside down taps
Discussion
In our bathroom, we have these stupid taps, that I refer to as upside down taps, as they are the reverse of a normal tap.
However, they appear to all be constantly leaking, both sink and bath. Is there a means of adjusting them ?
Ive looked on google and Wiki and cant see them, but dont know that they are actually called ?

Out of interest, how do you mean "reverse taps"?
My taps in my kitchen were fitted by the previous owners so you turn them the opposite way to what you normally do it - is this what you mean?
I've got no idea how they managed to get the taps to do that; it still catches me out some 8 years after moving in.

I assume its a mixer tap, in which case it's simply fitted backwardsMy taps in my kitchen were fitted by the previous owners so you turn them the opposite way to what you normally do it - is this what you mean?

Of course, my spatial awareness could've been completely off the blink for the past 8 years

If you mean your hot is cold & vice versa, then its easy* to swap the feeds underneath.
- I'm not responsible for any flooding whatsoever

Yes, but clockwise is still clockwise, no matter what angle it's at.

Sorry - thought you had levers for some reason & they were pointing at the wall. Not that I have ever done anything like that of courseOf course, my spatial awareness could've been completely off the blink for the past 8 years

No, what I mean is that you turn it anticlockwise to pour, and clockwise to stop.
Back to the original question - not sure what you mean. Are you saying that the whole body rotates instead of the spout?
i.e. it hasn't been done up tightly enough - or is it meant to do that?
Do you have pictures of the taps?
