What sort of summer will 2009 be?
Discussion
In terms of weather - I'm really hopeful. The Gulf Stream has definitely not been much in evidence over winter and spring - so I'm putting my money on a long dry summer
In terms of economy - the summer of discontent. Nothing the lazy unions like more than a hot dry summer for striking...

Hope so. Got two holidays this year in this country with the new car.
It will be nice from May to early June, after which it will rain, sleet and generally be windy.
We might even have tornado's.
I'm not too bothered as I'll hopefully be having horizontal fun with a female sixth form student whose finished her a levels and wants to know all about the big bad scary world out there.

<crosses fingers>
this summer, i will finally finish the renovations on my house, have a massive house warming party, stick a for sale sign up the next day and sell it for 50% profit.
that same week i will be inundated with job offers from london and various european capitals, all with hefty relocation allowances and a company wafter.
i will then sift through the offers and move to rented accom. with lodas of garage space. i will buy a tvr350 and a frogeye sprite [future track slag] and spend the rest of summer [it'll go on til november, trust me] getting to know their limits on the roads of europe, leaving burning rubber and broken hearts in my wake
and EVERY day will be tit monday.
