Hi all,

I seem to remember seeing EBC pads being recommended , anyone with experience of these?

Yes, don't bother.

There are much better pads out there.

I've got a virtually brand new set of yellows upstairs which I took out cos they left deposits all over my discs.

Depends on the usage they'll get and the compromises you're prepared to make really.

I personally run Pagid RS29's on mine.
The Pro's are that they work well from cold, NEVER fade (even on trackdays) and seem to last really well.

The Con's are that they are very expensive, very dusty, and can be noisy at low speeds.

From the research I've done, Ferrodo DS2500's are pretty good as a Fast road pad.

Performance friction have some excellent write up's from people who have used them, but there are a few different compounds. You'd need to do a bit of googling and see which compound you need.

I use performance friction Z rated pads, don't get any fade on trackdays, no squeal & very good on dust, it was about £130 for front & rear from ASP trading.

Have a look at Carbotech ones, if available.

I am using Pagid racing (yellow), very good from cold, very good pedal feel and no fade...the downside is they squeek at low speeds ie everyday driving which is a bit annoying. Best option for track days
