Hey guys

My brother who lives in Atlanta has a Crimson red WRX and is looking at some mods to give it some more performance and maybe tart it up cosmetically. He doesn't want any boy-racer spoilers, just subtle yet powerful mods.

He's thinking of these alloys (maybe in gold):
Pro-drive USA's P-1 (basically an OZ Superleggera)

This exhaust/performance pack:

Pro-drive Stage 2 setup (rear muiffler, exhaust mid-pipe, silicone intercooler y-pipe and ecu upgrade)

And the 294mm disc upgrade:

He works near to Pro-drive's headquarters, so thats one of the reasons he's looking there.

Any comments on these options?

Are they worthty of the cost?

Is it worth spending extra on any of the mods?

Any other advice?

Many thanks all on behalf of my bro (sorry about the large images)

Hmmm. US spec gets a 2.5 boxer 4, yes?

Good engine.

On any turbocharged car, anything to improve the way it breathes will help. So induction kit/free flow exhaust will help power a *bit*. It will help it sound a lot sportier though.

After that, it really depends what he wants to do. Most bang for buck would be a decent boost gauge and a boost controller to up the turbo boost somewhat.

Gold wheels on a WRX is a bit common though, don't you think?

He had gold wheels on his previous impreza about 5 years ago.

We tried them on his red car and it does look alright, although we both really like the Antracite ones.

Also, Imprezas aren't that common at all in Atlanta. They've got a dealer which is doing well, but they still get lots of looks and nods from the locals.
