Evening All,

Just thought I'd reintroduce myself, after selling the s3 and crossing the floor to griff ownership I'm back with a V8S, formerly Mr. Pook's and Mr. Wytcher's V8S to be precise.

I always missed the S and had bought a 71,000 mile granada cosworth in preparation for a heart transplant into an s2 or s3 but I was unable to resist the rumble of a V8 cloud9

Collected her yesterday for a drive home in the sun, the first time it hasn't rained on my first drive in a new TVR. Hopefully it's a good omen, but I'm sure I'll be begging for knowledge and hopefully contributing a bit as well.

Cheers

The Lukas

It certainly is, people on here talked me down from near panic on several occasions during my first months of ownership a few years ago!

Well, I have a 3 owner Granada with tatty paintwork that happens to be low mileage with full history. I had given the car a full mechanical going over in December with a view to sorting the lifting lacquer and having a smart classic uber barge as a toy.

Alas I couldn't live without the ability to have the roof of whenever it wasn't raining and only have space for one toy. I then thought "aha engine transplant time" but the right v8s for me came up and the rest is history. I'm currently in between doing the paint on the Granny and selling her as a classic or adopting the more mercenary approach smash

That said this was meant to be a hello not an advert and I don't want to fall foul of the authorities! Feel free to PM me if you are interested though.

hahahaha don't worry

I'm not really interested anyway (I ordered my new cologne camshaft kit today!) or so I shouldn't be interested!

I will no doubt enter V8 power one of these days but in the mean time, I need to get to know my V6.

Got any piccys of your car?

Sorry, not got round to pictures yet, still playing with the oily bits. Lokslike it'll be after easter before I can commence hooning.

The cologne engine is a great thing, I've known several with +200k on the clock.

Mocking the afflicted was always an essential part of this forum, not as bad as the griff one tho!
