After having finished the Ultima I decided to clean out the 10 bench drawers devoted to drills , taps and dies , hollow punches , reamers , micrometers , dial gauges etc etc , about 1000 small items in all . This took 6 hours of sorting cleaning ,sharpening etc . I decided to lock up for the night but had a brilliant idea to spray the whole lot with WD 40 which I did but on completion realised that the WD 40 smealt a bit funny . On reading the label on the can , to my horror it read " Insectes Volants ". This was the Heavy Duty fly killer that I had bought in France to spray the garage out before paintwork . The labelling and colours are identical to WD 40 . I had to wash the whole lot off and start again . I was in tears .
A bit off subject but it brings tears of laughter to me now and worth a post if it brings a giggle to others in these troubled times .

If the active ingredient is premethrin then the lethal dosage is less than red wine.

Oh Dear Oh Dear.

I know how you feel I spent half an hour spraying the wheels of the Ultima and my other car last week with what I thought was a heavy duty detergent. I had picked up a bottle of Aerospace polish (Dammed expensive)yes and used most of the bottle. Only harm was to my wallet and head as I bashed on the garage door in frustration.
