Except that, by the time you deduct the VAT and the new ttting duty and the duty and VAT on the fuel required to get there + the VAT on the ttting bat + the victim compensation fund there'll be about 50p left, and who would you pay it to anyway ?

What he is suggesting I think is that we sponsor someone to assassinate Gordon Brown, and use the resulting funds to solve world poverty. I think a lot of people would buy into that concept, and it has a lot of mileage.
