'02 E46 CD Satnav route is still showing

Was just playing with the satnav the other day, and put my address in to see how it worked on the way home. Worked fine ... White line the house, and C3P0's wife calling the pace notes.

But it won't turn off!! I've arrived, however it now keeps showing and recalculating the quickest route back home again. Voice is off, however silly white line routing to my house still shows. How do I switch it off to just show the map without routes?

press the button and choose end

It will always show the route until you restart the car. However you can stop 'voice guidance' which shuts her up.

On mine, you press the Nav button and if its still guiding you, the first menu option is "End Guidance?" or similar. Also, when you restart the car, it should offer you the option of "Continue Guidance?".

* I'm assuming its the same in 02's as it is in mine
